    AHRCC HEADQUARTERS
Folded Façade Experiment / Contemporary Mansard Reinterpretation
    Public Competition
    Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2023

AHRCC Headquarter explores the façade as a device of institutional identity.

The project proposes a contemporary reinterpretation of the mansard, transforming a historical architectural element into a folded envelope capable of giving the building depth, rhythm and urban presence.

Rather than treating the façade as a flat surface, the proposal works with folds, shadows and changes of inclination to produce a more active relationship between interior and city. The envelope becomes both image and structure of perception: a civic skin that represents the institution while responding to light, scale and context.

Through this folded façade experiment, the building seeks to balance permanence and contemporaneity — connecting the memory of traditional urban architecture with a more abstract and precise institutional language.
