ABOUT
CONCREATE
Concreate explores the fragile encounter between chalk and concrete: a soft, temporary trace drawn over a rigid and permanent material.
The project approaches concrete not only as structure, weight or construction, but as a surface capable of receiving delicate marks. Chalk becomes a gesture of interruption — light, unstable and almost domestic — placed against the hardness of mineral matter.
Through this contrast, the work reveals another condition of concrete: not brutal, cold or monumental, but sensitive, receptive and quietly vulnerable. The surface becomes a field of traces, where drawing, memory and material presence coexist.
Concreate proposes an intimate reading of architecture through touch: a rigid body marked by something that can disappear.
