Private Residence as Land Architecture
Di-Mansion is a private concept design for a couple of artists — a film director and a land artist — conceived as a house, a landscape and a threshold across time.
More than a mansion, the project is imagined as a dimension: a domestic portal where past, present and future merge into a single atmospheric experience. Like in a dream, the architecture unfolds through fragments, memories and symbolic rooms, becoming an intersecting platform between intimacy, art and landscape.
Inspired by land art, Magritte, cabinets of curiosities and Alice’s threshold, Di-Mansion proposes a house that is not only inhabited, but entered as a state of mind.
