LAND-SCAPE RETREAT
LAND-SCAPE RETREAT
Middle East, 2025
Land-Scape Retreat begins with the desire to inhabit silence.
Set within an arid and expansive territory, the project imagines architecture as a gesture of restraint: a delicate presence that listens to the land, frames the horizon and protects the act of dwelling without overwhelming the landscape.
Conceived almost as a nest, the retreat becomes a place of protection, pause and contemplation. It does not seek to disconnect from the world, but to recover a deeper form of connection through stillness, material restraint and the presence of the land.
Art, landscape and architecture become part of the same gesture: a careful act of framing rather than occupying.
