    LOFTS LOTS
    Mixed-use Prototype / Public Competition
    Tandil, Buenos Aires, 2021

Lofts Lots explores the narrow urban lot as a field of possibility: a compact site between party walls capable of becoming a flexible vertical framework for work, dwelling and public life.

The project proposes an industrial prefabricated prototype organised through a free perimeter structure. This strategy intensifies ventilation, natural light and spatial quality within a dense mixed-use condition, allowing the interior to remain open, adaptable and generous despite the constraints of the site.

The building is structured through an ideal modular system that accommodates three stratified programmes: commercial and public activity at ground level, open-plan office spaces above, and expandable medium-scale housing units.

Rather than a fixed object, the proposal operates as an urban framework: a repeatable system capable of adapting to different uses, densities and forms of occupation.
