My House explores the act of inhabiting through the figure of the inclined plane.
Conceived in relation to the mountain landscape of Caracas, the house is organised around a roof that becomes more than cover: it behaves as an artifact of mimicry, continuity and climate. The inclined plane extends the domestic interior towards the landscape, transforming the roof into the main open space of the project.
Covered with vegetation, the roof becomes a greenhouse-like surface: a living layer that mediates between house, mountain and tropical atmosphere. It provides shade, environmental protection and a more sustainable way of thinking about domestic life in the tropics.
The project proposes the house as a small landscape of actions — a place where living, climbing, resting, cultivating and looking become part of the same spatial experience.
