ABOUT
REACTIVATING THE HISTORICAL AXIS
Buenos Aires Historical Axis
Public Competition
Exhibited at Buenos Aires
Architecture Biennale in 2018
The proposal's central objective is to recompose the historical axis of Buenos Aires through an urban intervention that integrates the historical district by formalizing a new urban element. 'The City Hall,' located at the intersection, ensures the continuity of the public space along the axis, from the Congress and Casa Rosada to the Ecological Reserve and the Río de la Plata.
This initiative re-establishes Buenos Aires' connection with its waterfront, revitalizing the foundational historical axis where the city's main port once stood during the colonial era.
