The future of education lies in the spaces between classrooms.
University for the Future reimagines the educational building as a vertical field of encounters, where circulation becomes an active space for exchange, observation and collective learning.
Rather than treating corridors and stairs as secondary elements, the project transforms them into the building’s main pedagogical infrastructure. The circulation system becomes a social device: a place for informal meetings, visual connections, pauses, discussions and learning beyond the classroom.
The proposal is organised through three overlapping layers of movement. The first layer contains the protected fire escape; the second introduces meeting stairs, visual platforms and shared rooms; and the third becomes an amphitheatre-like structure for collective events and open learning.
In this way, the façade is not only an envelope, but a living section of the university: a place where movement, encounter and knowledge become visible.
