The symbolic and material charge of the living history of the Wharf carries a particular industrial and railway atmosphere that we intend to recreate and reuse to give the Wharf a second life that elevates, this time, the quality of life of the inhabitants and the spatial and cultural quality of the own port. It is then about generating an atmosphere that induces the port air to breathe, to humanise its scale, to put the citizen in relation to the size of the large infrastructures, adapting and rearranging the routes, uses and their matter, with precise compositional elements that give the Pier character and make it a pole of attraction.
Rails, stones, woods, metals, all of them productive for a long time, come back to life drawing new routes, intimate or collective, visual spaces, in which the port can be appreciated, heard, feel its movement, celebrate it in all its magnitude with nature as a framework of the great engineering, understanding in a harmonious whole the new, the historical, the natural, and the industrial.
